International Comics Conference –
A Great Global Comics Event

The International Comics Artist Conference (ICC) is the major event of the world comic industry. First held in Japan in 1996, the conference is hosted in turns by the founding members. Founding members are from the regions include the Mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

The goal is to promote the development of Asian comic culture, nurture industry talent, explore new market opportunities, and enable comic artists from different regions to exchange ideas and discuss topics related to comic development. Held concurrently with the Conference, the International Comics Exhibition
(ICE)
showcases outstanding works by local and international comic artists.

The founding members take turns hosting the ICC. After hosting the 14th ICC in 2013, Hong Kong has once again become the host region for the 20th ICC in 2025.
